I guess the wall mount is the type of part I am looking for, though there is a use case for a version with only 1 of the ears for only screwing on one side |

No rush since for my idea of using it for under mount drawers won't work for me due to size constraints. But I am toying with it as an idea to put a stack of power bricks which then feed power into devices mounted with Underware 2.0. I was initially planning on putting the bricks on the the Underware grid but it was just taking too much room |

I am trying to find a good under desk Gridfinity drawer system. There are of course many designs out there that have many trade-offs. Some of my guidelines are:
I was in the process of trying to design something myself that would do 5x5 drawers when I stumbled across the Home Racker Gridfinity drawers which would be a good compromise using 4x5 drawers.
What I don't see any where are any adapters for mounting a Home Racker under a surface as opposed to sitting on top of a surface.
Do such adapters exist? Seems like a pretty easy thing to design. Just a U shaped channel that wraps the horizontal members on top with holes for push pins (a variation of the corner pieces) with pieces to one or both sides with screw holes.
But perhaps it is not a good choice as far as weight bearing. In normal version you are designing for compressive forces versus this would be in tension making the pins the weak point
