I think a PG9 gland version would be nice, to use bigger cables for the umbilical.

That would be harder than it sounds… The PG7 at 18mm in diameter bearly fits as it is… The cable gland would probably have to be a custom one.

Maybe if we lift up the side component higher that the motor, than on top should be enough space for for a PG9 gland.
