Update the image to reduce the vulnerabilities

Hi, I am using the justb4/jmeter image in my app. And In my docker-desktop image section. when I see the vulnerabilities, at that time, the docker-desktop is suggesting how we can reduce the vulnerabilities.

The suggestion docker-desktop gives is to update the base image from alpine-3.12 to alpine-3.18 and higher and the critical vulnerability will be resolved. I tried with updating the base image to alpine-3.18 but it doesn't improve anything but the vulnerabilities are still remain same (critical one also).

I am wondering if the base image updation with updation in any other thing can resolve any vulnerabilities.
