ShineWiLan-X2 is possible?

As far as I can tell, (in the UK at least) all the previous shine dongles have been discontinued and only the ShineWiLan-X2 is currently available.

First problem: I've found how to configure the IP of the server it reports to on the server.growatt.com webpage, but it doesn't appear to do anything (I guess they filter out setting it to a LAN address?), and you can't enter an IP address in the "domain" server field.

Second problem: From other reports on here it seems more up to date Shine firmwares don't work with Grott any more. The ShineWiLan-X2 came with v7.6.1.8 on it which seems to be a leap ahead of other reports. So even if I did get it to divert to Grott, it may not work anyway?

Has anyone got a ShineWiLan-X2 to work with Grott? (If I figure anything out I'll add it here).

I have the ShineLink-X2 with ShineLanBox-X2 but there's nothing to see with grott :(

I have ShineWiLan-X2, Firmware Version：7.6.1.8 coupled with MOD 12KTL3-HU.
I just found your project after having failed with pypi-GrowatServer.
I'm willing to provide you with some data, maybe if I can also development help.

Let me first spin up the Grott locally and learn how to change server target on datalogger first.

I've done some research and here are my findings:
The dongle now requires TLS connection to growatt server and is starting each packet with a handshake, something that Grott is not supporting.
I tried to do a simple TLS passthrough and managed to connect dongle with growatt servers but then information packets become unreadable. I've made a simple man-in-the-middle attempt but it failed because dongle do not accepts my certificate.
I tried to access the dongle filesystem to locate the certificate file in hopes I can replace with my own but I could not access anything (windows, did not tried that much).
For all intents purposes the Grott is useless for this dongle and firmware, unless somebody knows a way to replace the expected certificate on the dongle itself or rollback the firmware to version that don't require TLS connection.

I'm again at the point where I started so I my journey for usable API continues.
