Hi,
I added a new feed on macbook A.
it works and I understand the setting is stored in file /plugins/rss-reader/data.json

A sync runs.

I open obsidian on macbook B.
I observe that the sync worked for all data & settings changes created on A.

But not for the feed setting.

Question: Should the above mentioned data.json be synced?

Thanks in advance

Most Obsidian plugins & Obsidian itself only load their settings on startup.

You need to restart Obsidian for changes to settings to be visible on other devices.
This is a core behaviour, nothing to do with this plugin.

This plugin is a exception, if you want to have your feeds visible almost instantly you can enable "Multi device usage" in the plugin settings.

You need to restart ...

I wrote "I open obsidian of macbook B"

to have your feeds visible almost instantly ...

I wasn't looking for instantly. obsidian on macbook A was closed long before.

Anyway.
There is a strange behaviour on the rss-reader/data.json file:

In the sync history I see my Edit of macbook A with the new setting. So far so good
and above it at START TIMESTAMP of the obsidian app on macbook B an entry with the OLD VERSION of the settings done by macbook B.

Is the rss-plugin re-saving the old settings on macbook B at startup, bevor the settings sync takes place? And therefore confusing the sync? Which is considering that the new setting of macbook b is outdated by the "dummy" save of macbook b?
