Expected behavior

In order to have an accurate speech, is it possible to add function to remove languages from the voices list?

Actual behavior

Cannot remove languages.

@clin366: I am not sure how removing a language makes speech more accurate. While the language detection in Talkie checks which voices are installed before "using" a language, I don't think having fewer languages improves anything.

  • Can you elaborate?
  • Is there a problem with a specific voice/language?
  • Do you have an example of a website where this is an issue?

You should also be able to disable/remove most voices/languages in your operating system, which would also remove them from Talkie. (Restart computer after in case it doesn't.)

@clin366: there is a similar request in #26, which uses slightly different wording with regards to the automatic voice selection. I am not sure I would "remove" voices completely, but perhaps there is a way to allow/disallow certain voice. It may also affect how preferred voices are configured.
