Can't delete history!

All text files are emptied when no media is playing - except of course the Spotilocal_history.txt.
I am a former Snip user, actually still use both these simultaneously on two units mostly to spot any differences!

So far Spotilocal is much better (faster if anything) in really keeping track.

One huge difference between these applications is 'history'
Snip only have one history file (a .txt -file)
Spotilocal uses three (.txt, .json, .csv)

I am using the the history file (.txt) monthly and was in Snip used to just copy/paste the data from that history text file into my personal database (for any particular month) and then delete it (or just delete the data and save the file empty).

Then start all over..... monthly with a blank history file (.txt).

I am still doing this using Snip because I can't seem to actually delete the Spotilocal_history text file. On next track it returns with previous data.
Ten minutes ago I actually first erased all data in all three history-files and then deleted them completely from the folder.

Spotilocal_History.txt
Spotilocal_History.json
and
Spotilocal_History.csv

When next track started, all three files was back as expected.
But unfortunately for me not empty but as full as they was before I even erased all data. So it's pretty hard for me to keep track of my monthly history when all I seem to get is all or nothing.

Am I doing it wrong?
Is it working in a way that I misunderstood?
...or is this a bug?

I finally managed to delete history but I needed to be logged out from the app for it to succeed!
Tried again (still logged in) a few tracks later with the same bad result as in my previous post
