Delay in file diff display

I can notice a delay around 2 seconds before presenting file diff.
How do I debug this? Can't find any diff command in lg -d --logs output

Are you using delta as a pager by any chance? If so, try adding --dark to its command line in the config to see if this makes a difference.

Also, which lazygit version are you using? The delta problem should really be fixed since long ago.

delta 0.18.2

I am indeed using delta as pager, but switching to diff-so-fancy e.g. doesn't make it run faster.

In comparison git diff (with the same pager set in gitconfig) being executed just from cli finishes within 1 sec.
