New task: Debug a memory leak in async Python

Domain: Code (Hard). Agent must identify and fix a memory leak in an async Python web server. Looking for someone to design the fixture.

I'm not seeing any code that suggests a memory leak, but I do notice that the subprocess.run call in base.py is capturing output, which can lead to large amounts of memory being held onto if the subprocess produces a lot of output. Could you clarify whether the memory leak is related to this subprocess output or something else?
