Zed integration

IWE Zed extension is available and can be installed from the editor extensions menu.

I installed the extension on Zed 0.173.8 on Linux. However, it seems the extension isn't active, there are no traces in the UI, and the keyboard shortcuts mentioned on the Quick Start page don't seem to work.

How can I check if the extension actually works? How are the keyboard shortcuts translated on Linux?

I am on Mac - Command T works to get project symbols. Everything else - I cannot see and none of the commands work. Should I install something else? LSP server of some kind?

OK, it started working. Now sure what I did, nothing specific I can think of.

The extension does two things

• downloads iwe binary for GitHub
• enables iwe lsp for markdown files in Zed

You can do this manually following markdown docs.

Unfortunately the extension was not tested on Linux. It may have some issue with binary download.

I’m not a Linux user and need help with testing/fixing it if there is an issue.

If extension works you should have iwes process running. You can also check Zed logs to see if there’s any issues starting iwe lsp
