Having Issue with Max Heap Size

I have a yml file that has the following set for environment:

MEMORY_INIT: 6G
MEMORY_MAX: 10G

but once the image is running I get the following when inspecting the JVM:

VM settings:
    Max. Heap Size (Estimated): 4.39G
    Using VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM

openjdk version "21.0.8" 2025-07-15 LTS
OpenJDK Runtime Environment Temurin-21.0.8+9 (build 21.0.8+9-LTS)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM Temurin-21.0.8+9 (build 21.0.8+9-LTS, mixed mode, sharing)

I couldn't find anything in the docs. I am also using the Auto CurseForge mudpack platform if that makes any difference. thanks for anyone willing to help!

I just realized you have the words flipped in the variable names
