Is this issue open or closed? It has been closed but a solution has not been added.

Having this in a PR would make this significantly easier than trying to ensure that the supplied code is added into the correct place. If this is still something required then the issue can be re-opened until such time the code is merged in.

Plenty of YouTube tutorials 🤷🏼‍♂️ you can't really expect people to implement something unless you can submit a pull request for them to pull your code into their workflow and if any conflicts appear, they can work on fixing that.

its quite straightforward once you've linked them. Creating a fork is as easy as clicking the button on the top right, you make your changes, then submit a pull request. Github then automatically merges the changes, you don't need to do anything. Its far easier from a maintenance perspective.

All that said, I responded to you on discord after reviewing the changes you've proposed, and it looks to be implementing more hard-coded categories that I'm trying to move away from. A better solution would be to re-implement the vehicles.xml code that was removed some time ago, that allows users to customise the categories to their own preferences. That code could easily be ported into peds, props, etc... to allow users to categorise everything in a way that better suits them.

Bring it back too, removing it was extremely terrible, I got tired of looking for the reason in my version at the time so that everything worked correctly for me after refactoring

already added this to my version a year and a half ago, everything was provided to you ready-made, if you understand at least a little bit of code, you can add it 😉👍, I will not figure it out in the GitHub trash and the source code of my version is lost and deleted, I do not intend to do everything again either, I provide what I find, and then do with it what you want
