Thanks for the suggestion and for the concrete URL examples. We have taken a closer look at the idea and think a user-configurable store search could be a good fit for Tribu, especially if it remains independent of specific retailers and countries. We want to give the global URL handling, permissions, privacy boundaries, and the possible later product-link and price-memory aspects some more thought before committing to an implementation. It is on our planning radar, but we do not have a timeline to share at this point. Thanks again for raising it. |

This is not a high priority request, just a "nice to have", but it would be interesting to have a per store link to a search for the item. (potentially price paid for it last purchase, too.) My proposal might be in the realm of "do it myself" but I'm curious if you'd be interested.
In the US, popular grocery stores (I'm not including brand names)
T .com/s?searchTerm=bread
W .com/search?q=bread
What I'd like minimal is a configurable search dropdown list that can be modified in the Admin/Settings to provide that list to Shopping list items. I could add the search URI prefix manually for stores (add/remove/disable) and the entries for the shopping list items would then become linked searchable.
Longer term I'd be interested in linking the actual product itself, but this is already a bit of an ask for a calendar.
