migrate data from MootiroMaps:

  • create methods for parsing data to a consumable json on each Model on MootiroMaps
  • send data from MootiroMaps to a intermediate redis
  • add keys to a processing queue on Redis
  • handle images and media migration
  • protect redis with authentication
  • task for loading data from redis to Meppit
  • Listeners to add changes to a "commit log" on redis
  • job on sidekiq to consume these changes and replicate on Meppit
  • Header on MootiroMaps telling users about the change to the new system
  • batch email on MootiroMaps about the migration
