This dataset includes records of diatoms associated with Ruppia maritima in the Patos Lagoon Estuary, Brazil. Samples were collected between 2015 and 2018 in shallow estuarine environments. Identification was done via light microscopy, mostly to genus and species level. The dataset contains scientific names, substrate type, and environmental parameters like salinity and temperature.
