Today, I noticed that Chrome flagged this valuable extension in the list: "These extensions may soon no longer be supported" and shows a banner above the profile page of Event Merge: "This extension may soon no longer be supported because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions."

Finding alternatives is not an option, as there are none available.

Looking at the last update of the code for this extension being 6 years old, I dare to ask: Is an update imminent?

Platform: MacOS 15.1 (Sequioa)
Chrome version: 131.0.6778.85

@HCAWN - are you also doing that fork for Firefox? Or Chrome only? I definitely wasn't able to find your version on the Firefox extensions site. (Though there's this gradient merge one.)
