Adding items to basket isn't obvious

When adding items to the basket, it is not obvious that they have been added or how to progress with a download.

Particularly on high-resolution monitors, there is a big gap between where you would be clicking to add things to the basket and the actual basket itself.

One possible suggested solution is to highlight the basket in a different colour when it has been added to.
