Text From Synchro Not Appearing in Unreal

In one of our projects there is some plane text which is not appearing in unreal engine. Is this not added to the plugin yet or is this a bug?

No time during the schedule this text appears. With 3d text however it does appear but that's because its a 3d mesh.

Does your plane text appear in the online imodel viewer?

we support mesh text and raster text; to investigate further I'm going to need access to the bim file

No the text does not appear in the online imodel viewer. I will need to ask if I can share the model.

You mentioned it is not a 3D text, and I don't know how a raster text would appear in 3DTiles, possible a plane with a texture?

Just in case the text is actually converted into lines, note that by default our plugin has disabled the rendering of points and lines. This was intended for iTwin Engage but I realized last week it is actually stored in the plugin's config, so the released plugins still have these settings near the top of C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_5.6\Engine\Plugins\Marketplace\ITwinForUnreal\Config\Engine.ini:

From what I can remember is that 3d text appears now. I don't know how they are created, I usually don't do that but I will take a look when I have the time.

so i have been trying this out again i've added text this way and it doesn't show up. this is usually what we use for text in synchro that isn't 3d modeled outside of synchro.

Hi Tim, have you tried setting bShowLineGeometries=True (see earlier message)?
I will try here, I don't think I had tried when you initially reported this issue.

I don't see the text in Unreal, but neither do I in BIC's default ("iModels") viewer:

Same in BIC's "Map" view. Actually that's what you had already reported above... ,^^
So it would mean the text may not even be ported over from SYNCHRO to the iModel - I will ask the SYNCHRO team.
