What is a Religion exactly

The rigorous life of a monk, a Sanyasi, a Sadhu, or a philosopher is not for everyone. Indeed, society would falter if everyone adopted such a path, for it requires a diversity of roles to manage the various functions and intricacies of the whole system.

This complexity makes it challenging to understand a culture from an outsider's perspective and to grasp why it is the way it is. A culture is an abstraction of the philosophies of its people, which are themselves abstractions of human nature shaped by various factors, including—but not limited to—the resources, climate, and challenges of the land.

This is why we observe such diversity in cultures across the world. Each one is a unique culmination of events and ideas about human nature, with subtle variations in different regions.

Great cultures and civilizations often perish when newer generations inevitably refuse to embrace the profound knowledge passed down by their ancestors.
