For less articulate individuals- people who talk in simple slang. A “let go” humane tech sub community where people can run wild with their discovery of how technology may be negatively impacting their life. Live and let live- almost a “stitch and bitch” zone- where people can dump feelings and frustrations about where technology has taken us in humanity.

Perhaps different chat rooms for different people? Different strokes for different folk type of forum- For example... I once went to a bar like this in San Francisco where there was a room for everyone. One room had dancing- another tables and lots of chatter, another couches and lounging, another couches and ah-hem curtains for privacy....

A place where everyone can engage in the way they feel comfortable to discover the impact technology has had on their contact with humanity.

It is a good point to think about, @healthyswimmer

In addition I think a requirement for the community website would be Accessibility, i.e. providing a low barrier to entry for the entire audience that we are targeting, at least for all of the common sections of the site (e.g. the 'science' section would obviously be different in language use). Easy to understand, comprehensive writing styles.
