It would be useful to show the day of the months in the dates.

This info is in the data used to generate the charts, but not displayed.

Hey @hugovk, after some investigation I managed to find your open issue on one of the Google repos 😄 google/google-visualization-issues#2870

It looks like custom date formats might not be supported? I tried using a formatter to format the columns, formatting it manually to a string (although it expects a Date object) and also returning an object like below because I saw that in some of their docs but it did not seem to work.
{ v: new Date(), f: "<formatted-date>" }

Using a formatter, it seems like the formatted string is there in the data but it is just not used when generating the chart.

Unfortunately, to me this seems like an issue on the Google side :(

I thought that may be the case. I wonder if the Google code is online somewhere and they're accepting PRs. Anyway, thanks for checking!
