Win client: err msg at start

Which ASIO driver are you using? ASIO4ALL? Does the sound work regardless of this error message?

I cannot reproduce this on my test-machine. I'm using ASIO4ALL.

Does the ASIO control panel show up?

• I use a propietary ASIO driver (RME)
• sound works regardless: yes
• tested your new build, but same err msg
• not sure what exactly you mean by e "the ASIO control panel", but I can switch in/out and "toggle buffer size" at least gives numerical feedback, but checking my ASIO control panel (calling it externally) it shows no change

to be explicit: what is fixed it the err msg at start.
The "toggle buffer size" button still has no effect whatsoever on my ASIO settings. I suggest including a button "open ASIO control" panel. This should open the driver's propietary control panel.

Maybe I need to move those files somewhere else. You are sure that the browser doesn't block the download?

seems it is a new windows behavior... Download block was bcs of security issues.

Current state:

• toggle buffer, closing and reopening prog: setting saved (in your prog!)
• my ASIO control panel does NOT open
• opening my ASIO control panel externally shows that the setting is NOT altered by your prog
