webhook-like usage mode

I want to call some client-server API functions with a token I already have from a web hook. Currently this library expects me to run a full bot with handlers and stuff, but I never handle any events, so I don't need any of that and would just like to use the abstraction over the matrix HTTP endpoints to send events to.
