Gradients as backgrounds

New to NextUI. Anyway to pass gradients inside the background in themes similar to NextUI website.
Applying gradient the other way takes away that feature when switching between light and dark which i need.

I'm wondering the same thing, I think it was removed because it was available in v1

It's been an year now and they don't even look at discussions lol.
I moved away from NextUI in the end because it fails to do some basic things and it was too opinionated to work which is the polar opposite of what it is built on.
The APIs provided for changing things aren't that good in my opinion and a basic UI screen with a lot of elements seem sluggish to me which maybe due to the Framer-motion animation dependencies for every element. (A screen with more than 30 to 40 results that show a skeleton and than load in).
I understand the popularity of something like Shadcn now which at the time I didn't so a good experience overall.
