Hi—unfortunately, I am still experiencing a recurring problem:
When I switch off my Wi-Fi router (in the evening), the new software triggers a reboot. It makes no difference whether the connection to the router is established via Wi-Fi or LAN.
Heishamon:
Model Large esp32
WIFI not installed
Lan conected
aktiviert force Rules on boot
Everything else disabled.
Heating controlled solely via Rules, without external devices.
Wi-Fi Router:
FritzBox 5590
Connected to Heishamon via LAN cable (10m)
Assigned a fixed IP address
Operating conditions yesterday:
HeishaMon Alpha-c24401f
TOP 1 Heatpump_State = 1
TOP 77 Heating_Off_Outdoor_Temp = 5
No heating operation — Summer shutdown triggered by TOP 77
The Issue:
At approximately 21:53, I switched off the router.
A few seconds later, the heating system switched to heating mode. According to my rule set, this could only have been triggered by a reboot.
This morning, I found this data in the console::
Mon May 11 07:00:41 2026 (32841846): Heishamon stats: Uptime: 0 days 9 hours 7 minutes 21 seconds ## Free memory: 66% ## Free PSRAM: 2043408 bytes ## Free heap: 230116 bytes ## Wifi: -1% (RSSI: 0) ## Ethernet: connected (192.168.178.26) ## Mqtt reconnects: 0 ## Correct data: 100.00% Rules active: 12
Time: 7:00
Hishamon Uptime: 9:07:21
This means since exactly 21:53 the previous day.
This was the exact moment I switched off the router.
I experienced this same behavior in the past as well, when Heihamon was still connected to the router via Wi-Fi.
I assumed I would be able to bypass the problem by connecting via a LAN cable, but it is happening with LAN as well.
In v3.9, it runs without any issues for several days—and likely even longer.
