There is no way to undo all the network changes made by the app.
This seems like an improved kill switch. I understand its importance in preventing data leaks.

But when I want to uninstall or simply shut down the app completely (force stop), this causes a problem. Either I can’t connect at all (Wi-Fi and mobile networks), or I can only connect via the mobile network. The smartphone connects to Wi-Fi but shows that an internet connection is impossible.

Tor/Orbot isn't enabled, but I've enabled it at least once.

I can only regain an internet connection when the app is running. The “Private DNS” setting must also not be disabled.

Reinstalling removes all settings, there's no way to the kill switch to be enabled again after reinstalling.
Are you 100% sure you are not using the offline version? have you checked if you enabled network permissions?
This looks like a issue with your device/network.
Force stopping the app means it will not connect to anything and the only way to connect again is to open the app again
Force stopping tell the OS that you don't want the app running and there's no way to automatically open it again

It also only connects to a relay when you add an application that uses that relay

I only granted permission for notifications because I was asked to. There’s also a permission for the camera, but I didn’t grant that one.

The full list of permissions includes network permissions, but I wasn’t asked for them, and I don’t have the option to grant or deny them.

I don’t know if it’s necessary to grant these network-related permissions or if they’re granted by default

This might not be related to the kill switch.

All I can say is that I can no longer use my Wi-Fi network unless the app is running.

Android connects to Wi-Fi but no longer has internet access—except when Amber is running.

And I can’t exit the app (especially since it runs in the background) unless I force it to stop.

There’s no button to stop the app from running in the background in the persistent notification.

I've found a workaround that seems to be working for now.

I log out of my account and then force the app to close.

Even though the app prioritizes safety, I think it’s important to be able to turn Amber off completely without having to log out of your account and force-close the app.

Do you use web apps with amber or just native apps like amethyst/wisp?
If you use only native apps you can use the offline version

I installed the Amethyst app, but I've since uninstalled it.

Could the problem be caused by the Amethyst app?

I just went through the same process on the Amethyst app.

I turned off Tor and logged out of my account.
