Are there plans to upgrade this plugin to be compatible with Grails 5?

Could you help me understand what about this plugin doesn't work with Grails 5? We've used it both in Grails 5 & 6.

    api "org.grails.plugins:spring-security-ldap:4.0.0.M1"
    api "org.springframework.security:spring-security-ldap"
