Docker simple install isn't working for me out of the box

• Yes, I'm using a binary release within 2 latest major releases. Only such installations are supported.
• Yes, I've searched similar issues on GitHub and didn't find any.
• Yes, I've included all information below (version, config, etc).
• Yes, I've tried with the standalone linter if available. (https://golangci-lint.run/usage/linters/)

Description of the problem

This simple Docker install isn't working for me:

FROM golang:1.16.6-buster AS build
RUN wget -O - -q https://raw.githubusercontent.com/golangci/golangci-lint/master/install.sh | sh -s v1.45.2
RUN golangci-lint --version

The output is:

If you only pipe to sh - it will be installed to ./bin. Do you have ./bin in your PATH? If you don't know, can you try

RUN wget -O- -nv https://raw.githubusercontent.com/golangci/golangci-lint/master/install.sh | sh -s -- -b /tmp v1.45.2
RUN /tmp/golangci-lint version

There is either something wrong with my machine or I'm not sure. Either way any input to my answer bellow is appreciated.

This is not working for me too. Output:

#6 0.252 /bin/sh: 1: /tmp/golangci-lint: not found

The weird thing is that this used to work before:

RUN wget -O - -q https://raw.githubusercontent.com/golangci/golangci-lint/master/install.sh | sh -s v1.45.2
RUN golangci-lint --version

Suddenly the CI job is broken.

Sadly I cannot reproduce this.

It's working for me now.
I'm not able to know why downloading directly in /bin works now:

RUN curl -sSfL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/golangci/golangci-lint/master/install.sh | sh -s v1.45.2
