##Description
Great. We now have working deployments on google cloud and a reference hybrid deployment POC. Time to put the pieces together and see if we can improve on the latency by a multi region deployment.

Step 1

• Thao creates a backend / frontend image of G&C that can be deployed into Wasath's current gCloud deployment.

Step 2

• Wasath replaces the SPA currently in use with the G&C Frontend / Backend. In other words, Wasath's current architecture expect with the G&C FE /BE used (instead of the current SPA) with Layer8 in the middle, deployed in a single region.

Notes

• G&C currently has some outside integrations that make use of AI. These can be left broken. So long as a test user can open the tunnel and then register and run the OAuth flow, the layer8 deployment will be assumed to be fully working.

(Future Directions)

• We make the AWS Auth/FP deployment multi-region
• We make the RP/Backed G&C deployment multi-region
• Then we stress test the system.

Acceptance Criteria

• The tunnel must open
• The latency test must run.

I've updated the frontend image in docker-compose-gnc.yml to run locally, the frontend image for your Google Cloud deployment is dtpthao/gnc-frontend:dev.gc

Hi @stravid87,
I created the deployment on k8s with the new Docker images. At the moment, I didn't remove the spa-frontend and spa-backend from the deployments in case we need them. I deployed the new gnc-frontend and gnc-backend on the same cluster.

Frontend: http://35.206.239.129/

Tests :

Ran a latency test and it seems to be working correctly.
