No Data Upload Prompt #410

Problem

When a user creates a new project in MANAGE and then opens the project in CURATE, they have no data. This leaves a large grey space with no content and makes the assumption the user will click the upload button in the bottom right - this is likely to be missed by users.

Solution

As we introduced in MANAGE, we should implement a no data prompt which creates a clear call to action for the user to upload data to get started.

The design is very similar to the version in MANAGE with adjusted content to match the context of CURATE. This should appear ONLY when a project has no data.

A large white box (outline: 2px #EBEBEB > border-radius: 12px > no drop shadow) contains another box (outline: 2px #EBEBEB > border-radius: 12px > no drop shadow) with an icon, text and a clear call to action button. All other icons (minus the topbar) should be disabled except for upload.

CURATE – layout none – 1

Considered Alternatives

I considered wether this should a dialogue instead or whether it needed to be contained in the large white box but for consistency purposes, I did not choose these route - I kept it very similar to the existing version in MANAGE.
