💡 About QIE Digital

QIE is a revolutionary blockchain ecosystem engineered for speed, security, and true scalability. We are building the infrastructure necessary for real-world blockchain adoption, integrating crucial protocols directly into our network's DNA. This hackathon is your invitation to build on a foundation designed for performance.

🛡️ Why Build on QIE?

Developers choose QIE for its robust architectural strengths:

  • EVM-Compatible: Effortlessly deploy your existing Solidity smart contracts. If you can build on Ethereum, you are ready to build on QIE.
  • Cosmos SDK Core: Leverage the modularity and speed of the Cosmos SDK.
  • IBC Enabled: Inter-Blockchain Communication is native, allowing for future cross-chain interoperability.
  • Hyper-Scalable: Experience high throughput and minimal transaction fees, ideal for consumer-grade dApps.
  • Native Ecosystem Components: Integrate directly with native tools like QIELend (Lending), QieDex (Exchange), and QIE Pass (Digital Identity).

🎯 Hackathon Tracks & Problem Statements

We invite participants to innovate within three primary tracks. Choose your focus and build a solution that makes an impact.

Track 1: The DeFi Frontier (QieDex & QIELend)

Challenge: Innovate in Decentralized Finance (DeFi). Build solutions that enhance trading efficiency, introduce unique lending/borrowing mechanisms, or create novel yield strategies on QIE.

  • Keywords: AMM, Lending Protocol, Stablecoins, Perpetual Trading.

Track 2: Identity & Security (QIE Pass)

Challenge: Revolutionize on-chain identity. Utilize the principles of QIE Pass to create secure, decentralized, or synergistic identity management systems, or build advanced security tools for smart contracts.

  • Keywords: DID, ZK-Snarks, Secure Authentication, On-chain Credit Scoring.

Track 3: The General dApp Showcase

Challenge: The Web3 playground. Build unique decentralized applications outside DeFi and Identity—including NFTs, Gaming (GameFi), Social Platforms (SocialFi), or critical infrastructure tools.

  • Keywords: NFT Marketplaces, DAO Tools, SDKs, Cross-chain Bridges.

🏆 Prize Pool

A total grand prize pool of $20,000 is available for the most innovative and impactful projects built on QIE.

📜 Official Guidelines & Rules

Eligibility

  • The hackathon is open to developers, designers, and visionaries globally.
  • We welcome participants from all levels—students, professionals, and existing startup teams.

Team Dynamics

  • Team Size: 1 to 5 members per team.
  • Cross-Collaboration: Inter-college and Inter-specialization teams are highly encouraged. Combine skills for the best results!

Submission Requirements

To be eligible for judging, your project submission must include:

  1. Public GitHub Repository: Containing original, documented code developed specifically during the hackathon.
  2. Deployment: The contract must be deployed on the QIE Testnet/Mainnet.
  3. Video Demo: A short (2-5 minute) video showcasing your "BUIDL" and its functionality.
  4. README.md: A clear description, installation steps, and usage instructions for your project.

Core Rules

  • Originality: Projects must be developed during the hackathon period. Pre-existing projects are not permitted (though utilizing established open-source libraries is acceptable).
  • QIE Integration: The solution must utilize or be built upon the QIE Blockchain.
  • Plagiarism: Any code plagiarism or fraud will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Final Decision: The judging panel's decisions are final and binding.

🔧 Submission Format for Forking

When you are ready to submit, please follow this standard GitHub repository structure for your project:

  1. Fork the main hackathon submission repo (if provided).
  2. Maintain the following directory structure:
    /project-name
    ├── /contracts # Your Smart Contracts (Solidity/Vyper)
    ├── /frontend # Your dApp Front-end (React/Vue/etc.)
    ├── /backend # (Optional) Any required back-end services
├── /docs # (Optional) Detailed whitepaper or documentation
    ├── /images # (Optional) Screenshots
