bug: Android keyboard space too big for small on screen keyboard

What's broken

My software keyboard is pretty low (taking 25% of screen space). But the space left for keyboard seems too big and hence precious screen space is wasted. It would be nice if the size can just fit the keyboard. See the gap between the keyboard and the special keys in the screenshot.

In addition it would be nice if the special key buttons on the top can be hidden since my keyboard already provides them.

Steps to reproduce

Install unexpected keyboard and set the keyboard height to 25%. Then open a terminal in paseo.

The reported behavior is a current Android terminal layout bug: with Unexpected Keyboard set to 25% height, Paseo reserves more vertical space than the active keyboard occupies. The reproduction is specific enough to keep this open as p2 for the Android app.

The optional request to hide Paseo's terminal special-key row is a separate workflow change and is not part of this bug's scope.
