Webpack devServer / rewrites

Trying to get a local rewrite working with webpack.

exports.onCreateWebpackConfig = ({ actions, getConfig }) => {

  config.devServer = {
    historyApiFallback: {
      rewrites: [{
          from: /^test\/path\/results/,
          to: '/'
      }]
  },
  };
  actions.replaceWebpackConfig(config);
};

If I go to http://localhost:8000/test/path/results/ I want it to redirect to the index page but instead I get the "Gatsby.js development 404 page"
