We have previously discussed the question of if/how the Core IM EvidenceLine class should be used in representing CIViC data - specifically the CIViC EID records.
Alex's initial Therapeutic Response profile opts not to use this class, and instead handles CIViC's EID records using the same TR Statement class as it uses for its higher order AID assertion records that are based on EIDs as lines of evidence.
We were at an impasse here when we last talked - but promised to revisit after the November Connect sessions.
One thing that would help us better understand considerations/implications is to expand the CIViC data examples to include an AID assertion record, and show how it references EID records as supporting evidence under the two approaches under consideration.
