Configurables for non-static variables

Hi,

We are looking into the possibility of adding support for creating configurables of non-static variables in Java language. This would, of course, mean that the user will have to supply an object to be inspected for configurables to show up.

Would such a feature be accepted into the project?

Thanks for your suggestion! At the moment, I’m already planning to handle support for non-static configurables myself, together with the features outlined on the old plans page https://ftcontrol.bylazar.com/docs/plans. including:

• ordered items
• handling angles and length units
• handling inherited properties

These will be part of the upcoming configurables update.
