Not sure if I have overseen something, but seems there is only source code available for download. As a non-developer I am wondering if there is a place where the final builds can be downloaded (win vst3 especially).

I am already using this wrapper for some time (mostly for the great nakst plugins). But still on a 0.8-build I found somewhere in the depths of the internet ...

BTW: thanks for all your work - very useful!

There really aren’t final builds. This is software to be used in conjunction with a plugin to wrap it

What are you trying to achieve? Maybe there’s a use case we missed which means we should have some form of binary

Ah, I see, seems I did not get the complete picture. So what I found was a separate work, not part but based on the code of this project.
This wrapper.vst3 wraps any clap plugin by simply renaming it to the name of the clap plugin without any need to compile anything. Unfortunately I can only find a version based on the outdated clap-wrapper 0.8.

This is from the included readme, makes handling maybe clearer than my description above:

1. Copy wrapsaroundyourmom.vst3 to your VST3 folder
2. rename the vst3 file to the CLAP plugin you want to wrap to VST3
(The wrapper will look in the CLAP folder in CommonFiles for Clap plugin with the same name)
for example ExtraBold:
in CLAP folder: c:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP\ExtraBold.clap
<--->
in VST3 folder: ...\ExtraBold.vst3 <--- thats the wrapper.

Oh right! I forgot we even had that mode and it doesn’t work for auv2 anyway so most folks have moved to the later dev forward approaches

But should be revivable - now I get what you mean

yeah if we do we can also make the Github actions do at least the windows and linux vst3 build and post them to a nightly. (which will work- mac signing will i think defeat the rename strategy and the au requires in bundle per clap changes).

If it still builds and works lemme know timo and i can do GitHub work this week sometime.
