Gong snippet: TODO

Problem

Users can't tell which policies trigger an automation without opening up the manage automations modals (calendar, software, scripts) or the details page (which even those don't show what triggers what)

What have you tried?

Potential solutions

  • Add icons with tooltips on the manage policies page next to the policy name
Image
  • Tooltip on hover of install software automation: "[SOFTWARE](Link to software title page) will only install on targeted hosts failing this policy."

  • Tooltip on hover of install software automation: "[Script](Link to script title modal) will only run on targeted hosts failing this policy."
Image
  • Tooltip on hover of calendar automation "[Calendar automation](Link to calendar events modal) will only reserve time on calendars of targeted hosts failing this policy"

What is the expected workflow as a result of your proposal?
