appchooser cannot open terminal application

When trying to open a file with cli editors like nvim or helix from an flatpak app (xdg-desktop-portal-gtk "Open with..." dialog), that have Terminal=true in their .desktop file, the appchooser does not open the files in those programs in a terminal (e.g. like gio open is able to do outside of the flatpak).
