Look into dark mode/light mode in the Qt 6 GUI

Right now the default is dark mode, we should probably offer a light mode option. Or default to whatever the desktop is using? There are currently issues with the dark mode display when the OS desktop is set to light mode.

The bug resulting from a difference in the theme of the desktop and application was fixed by the MSU team. I propose we add a themes option onto the menu bar, which will include a dark and light mode. Eventually, we could add more themes if we want to provide that customization.

I invesitgated this and found that there is a property for the widgets called palette when editing mainwindow.ui. For some widgets, this has been customized, and for others, this has been inherited from their parent Widgets. By editing the parent palette, you can uniformly change the palettes of all child widgets (except those that have been customized).

It might make sense to create two functions, one that edits the palette to light mode and one that edits it to dark mode. This way, we don't have to worry about editing maindwindow.ui as much and have functions that can be connected to menu bar actions.

In commit 551ad64, I have defaulted the GUI to use light mode. We can work to make the color scheme match that of the Qt4 GUI, and then develop a matching dark mode users can activate.
