Is this the same issue as #11759? If so it will be fixed for the next update. |
Where can I see issue #11759?
When will the new update be released?
|
You can click the view on GitHub link at the bottom of the email then click on the issue number. |

I already installed it but it doesn't work, in fact they changed the Layout / Type / Tiles option to Cards and the application crashes

Good morning!
I was testing with Files for what we discussed yesterday about Tags, I realized that if I don't configure the general Group By in settings but instead I give Group By Type or Date or whatever for each folder, it works without any problem, it is when Group By is activated with some option when the Tabs stop filtering, taking the example you sent me from issue #11759 that the Group By disappears even if you put it by Tag, so I assume that when Files wants to filter by a Tag it doesn't find the correct way to group the directories or files.
I'm sending you some example screens.
In the case of the preview version, the one that came out was 3.8.14, I think this version requires more tests since it crashed very often, especially when using the Group By Cards option
Thanks
|
The crashing issue should be fixed in 3.8.15.0 |
Ok Thanks

Description
Greetings!
I love Files, I really think it's a very well-made tool.
I detected a problem when using labels, as they work well by finding the marked files or folders, but if I change something in the configuration option in the layout option, the label search stops working.
