not work on www-client/chromium

Installed fcitx5-chinese-addon, found it works perfectly under native plasma6 (kde) apps, but it is does not work under third party apps chromium , firefox, thunderbird , abiword.

my environment is simplified Chinese pinyin

sounds like you missed fcitx5-gtk and maybe some environment setup.
