tracking by detection demo

Hi! I can see that there is a folder in detectron2 named "tracking". Is it supposed to run tracking by detection on videos or what? Currently I am working on an instance segmentation + multi object tracking and for the detection part I am using detectron2 to produce bbox and masks for my video frames, then I recompose the frames in a video with a script.
It would be nice if I could do tracking on video frames or videos directly with your API, but I can see that is a recent work and so It lacks documentation. Can you provide some information on when a guide will be avaliable or what is its purpose?
