Can I use GeoLift to know if I selected my Treatment and Control Group properly?

Hi, I have identified treatment and control group.

My question is, can I use this package to know if I selected the locations that fall under each group properly? Is there a specific metric that I could use to validate this?

I tried using the GeoLiftMarketSelection function and found that the BestMarkets were different from what I have.
