Thanks for the update. Does Arduino ESP32-S3 code have access to the HCI commands? Separately any word on BLE Audio (or A2DP) support? Frank

I just heard that the H4 may be available in the market for the 2nd quarter of 2026, therefore, in about 1 year from now.

I hope it turns out to be Q2 2025. I asked Espressif sales and they replied "The ESP32-H4 is currently unavailable. We recommend checking back in Q2 2025. In the meantime, you can subscribe to Espressif's updates (subscription path can be found in the top right corner of the official website) to stay informed about the latest product news. Great blog! I’ve been learning more about how Bluetooth works on the ESP32, and your explanation really helped. It was cool to see how everything connects behind the scenes.
