We will need to add a new duplicate type response for 'change in eligibility status' to the SMDB Data Corrections Tool under 'Verification Corrections' > 'Duplicate Type'.
This duplicate type will only be used by CCC and CSC staff and will not be added to the API for sites to use.
This will be to address recruits who were previously marked as 'cannot be verified' due to not meeting age eligibility criteria at time of enrollment but now meet age criteria and re-enroll under a new account. The new account will be marked as 'verified' and the original account will be updated from 'cannot be verified' to 'duplicate' with a duplicate type of 'change in eligibility status'. Please note, the preferred process would be for participants to only use the one original account and to update their verification status from 'cannot be verified' to 'verified' and not re-enroll under a new account, however, this will assist with reconciling the 2 accounts if a participant were to re-enroll under a new account on their own.
@mnataraj92@hullingsag - please add new CID for the duplicate type response once created to this github issue.
@KELSEYDOWLING7@hullingsag we will also want to add this duplicate type response to the Duplicates Metrics Report.
