What Happened?

after entering the desktop the Dock appears in different areas on the desktop as opposed to the bottom and center
where it should be hidden until a mouse-over to reveal itself.

adding an application to the dock works, however, if the dock is hidden, or any app is loaded on the desktop, trying to move the added application icon on the dock is impossible as the dock appears and disappears even though you are dragging the icon within the dock's space.

Steps to Reproduce

-just sign onto elemenary OS
-to get rid of the Dock wherever it is on the desktop a mouse-over the bottom of the desktop places it there
-close any open app on the desktop and try to move the added app icon within the dock to where you want it to be

Expected Behavior

Once you've signed into/onto elementary OS the dock should be where you configured it to be.

In my case it is supposed to be bottom-center and hidden until I mouse-over it to reveal it.

Moving an app's icon within the dock, once you reveal it with a mouse-over should be seemless.
