Locked screen sometimes reveals desktop contents after opening laptop lid

What Happened?

After re-opening the laptop lid, the desktop contents displayed prior to closing the lid were shown for a few seconds (like around 3-5 secs) before the lock screen was displayed

Steps to Reproduce

Closed the laptop lid while having quite some apps running so that the laptop goes to standby which also locks the user session and protect the information showed on the screen.

Expected Behavior

After opening the lid, the screen contents of the locked session must never be revealed unless the password is provided.
