When making a video call, the video preview (i.e. my view of myself) is not horizontally flipped.
The UX is uncomfortable, because the preview doesn't act like a mirror.

It turns out that this is configurable in the browser version. (Thanks to @t3chguy for answering element-hq/element-web#10650 with lightning speed)

But is turned off by default:

In my case (and presumably in most cases?) the camera is a webcam pointed at myself, and I would always want this option turned on.

I respectfully suggest that on would be a sensible default for the "Mirror local video feed" option.

The alternative would be to have to turn this on manually on every browser I log in to, and more annoyingly, explain how to do this to all the users in our group.
