dryrun for development of script

We could include a dry run flag for not running the command but still checking the calls are valid (as much as possible).

Hmm we already return a logging.debug(f" Running command {full_cmd}") so I guess with a cli flag of --dryrun we could only return full_cmd and not actually execute subprocess for the list of command line arguments.

That should work, it just needs to indicate what the command would be.
