Describe the bug

I use auto-hide in my dock without any delay, so the dock appear instantly after i reach the bottom with my mouse.

If i hover an app too fast the float window shows behind the dock like it detect the dock position at "0".
But, if open the dock and take a couple of time to hover an app, the float window show in the right position (above the dock).

  1. The "window buffer" option don't help and even make it worse when the preview work properly because it add a margin.
  2. The "preview windows open delay" option doesn't help either, even if put 1 second or more to the float window appear.

Steps to reproduce

  1. enable auto-hide the dock, remove the delay.
  2. just fast hover an app.
2.1. put your cursor close to the where the app icon will show when the dock opens and drag the cursor down.

Expected behavior

Show the float window in the right position

Actual behavior

The float windows show behind (out of position) the dock.
